Plain English: what we collect when you send us a quote, why, where it goes, and how to get it deleted.
Who we are
Korfez Studio is run by Selim Korfez, trading as Korfez Studio, Leicester, United Kingdom. We decide how your details are used (we are the “controller”). Contact: korfezstudio@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you press Send my quote: your name, business name, email address, whether you’re buying as a business or a private person, your message, and the options you picked in the price builder. Nothing else. The price builder also remembers your choices in your own browser so you can come back to them; that never leaves your device unless you send the quote.
Why, and on what basis
Only to reply to you, prepare a proposal and, if you go ahead, a contract. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
The site is hosted by Vercel (functions run in London). Your enquiry is stored briefly in a private database at Sanity, our content platform, then copied to our own files. As soon as it’s copied, your personal details are removed from Sanity. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards.
How long we keep it
If you become a client, as long as the project and the law require (for example, 6 years for contracts and invoices). If you don’t, we delete your enquiry within 12 months.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by emailing us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
